The Scranton Fire Protection District

is located in the center of the Town of Hamburg and is approximately 6 square miles in area. Our district contains a mixture of residential and commercial buildings including several apartment complexes, adult retirement homes, motels/inns, and shopping plazas. We also provide Fire, Rescue, and EMS to approximately 16 miles of the New York State Thruway from South Park Ave. to the 18 Mile Creek Bridge and to a portion of the Erie Railroad. Our district is split into two response zones that are separated by the Thruway.
